MIDI Monitor is a free app for Mac that displays incoming and outgoing MIDI signals. Im a windows guys, so was only able to test this on virtual machine. It’s really useful for musicians troubleshooting MIDI issues and programmers testing MIDI drivers and apps. It is open-source, available under the BSD license, and supports macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and later versions.
