Built in collaboration with Ryan “Fluff” Bruce, it focuses on immediate results, delivering tight, aggressive tones with minimal tweaking. If you want modern metal sounds fast, this is very much a load-it-and-play plugin.

The 5034 Fluff Amp
The free edition includes one amp: 5034 Fluff, a modern high-gain monster tuned for heavy chugs and articulate riffing.
It’s voiced to work without the need for an external overdrive, keeping the signal chain simple while retaining punch and clarity.
The feel is immediate and responsive, making it ideal for writing, tracking, or quick demo work where inspiration matters more than endless tone shaping.
Cabinet, Pedals & Workflow
Amped Roots Free runs on ML Sound Lab’s Amped engine, featuring a streamlined signal path with essential tools built in.
You get access to the pedalboard section, including noise gate, compressor, drive, chorus, delay, and reverb, covering the basics without clutter.
The plugin also supports ML Sound Lab’s 3D cabinet simulation system, allowing mic positioning and cabinet selection in the full version, while still maintaining a clean, efficient workflow in the free release. A built-in tuner, MIDI support, and standalone app make it flexible for both studio and practice use.
Expandable Platform
While the free version focuses on a single amp, Amped Roots is designed as an expandable platform.
Upgrading unlocks additional Fluff-curated amps and cabinet content, but the free version stands on its own as a focused, usable metal amp sim rather than a restricted demo.
