BLEASS Monolit

BLEASS Monolit is a high-performance monophonic synthesizer that distills the heavyweight grit of BLEASS Alpha into a streamlined, CPU-efficient architecture.

Designed for producers who need immediate, punchy results, Monolit excels at foundational bass, piercing leads, and complex MPE-driven textures.

System Requirements:

The Power of Focused Synthesis

Monolit cuts through the noise by stripping away the fluff of polyphonic synths and focusing on transient precision.

  • Dual-Oscillator Engine: Blend and morph between waveforms with integrated FM for everything from classic analog warmth to metallic digital edge.
  • Seven-Voice Unison: Create massive, wide-spectrum sounds that maintain a rock-solid mono core, perfect for modern club tracks and cinematic sub-bass.
  • The “Smart” Dice: Use the intelligent randomization engine to generate musically coherent patches instantly, giving you a starting point that actually works in your key.

MPE Expression & Touch-Ready Workflow

In a category where most free synths feel static, Monolit is built for movement. The interface is optimized for high-speed workflows, featuring long-throw faders that provide fine-tuned control over every parameter.

With full MPE compatibility, you can map pressure and slide to any modulation destination, turning a simple mono lead into a living, breathing performance. Whether you are on a desktop using a mouse or on a tablet using touch, the response is tactile and immediate.

The interface is designed for speed and playability, with long-throw faders and clear visual feedback that work equally well with a mouse or touch screen. A smart randomise dice adds inspiration without destroying musicality, generating usable results rather than chaos.

Key Features:

Monolit keeps things lean while offering plenty of creative depth.

FAQ

By focusing on a single voice, Monolit allows for much tighter envelope response and transient snap. This makes it far superior to poly-synths for "locked-in" basslines and leads that need to stay punchy in a busy mix.

No. You get the exact same high-quality audio engine and feature set across all platforms. This makes it the perfect "mobile to studio" tool for traveling producers.

Monolit leans toward a polished modern analogue tone rather than gritty vintage emulation. The oscillators are stable and clean, with weight coming from the unison engine and filter drive rather than intentional drift or instability. It won’t fully replicate a Moog-style saturation curve or discrete analogue behaviour, but it delivers a tight, mix-ready low end that works particularly well in modern electronic production.

The FM stage is streamlined rather than deeply modular. It’s designed to add harmonic aggression and metallic edge to basses and leads without becoming unpredictable. You can target one or both oscillators, which adds flexibility, but this isn’t a full multi-operator FM engine. Think punch enhancement and harmonic complexity rather than full DX-style programming.

Monolit’s unison is surprisingly powerful for a mono instrument. With up to seven voice duplicates, detune spread and stereo width controls, it can generate extremely wide basses and leads. Because it’s mono in voice structure but stereo in output, it maintains solid fundamental weight while allowing aggressive stereo expansion. For layered trance leads or modern melodic techno basses, it performs well above expectations for a free synth.

Yes. Monolit supports modulation routing from Mod Wheel, Aftertouch (Pressure), and MPE Slide (CC74). Each controller can be routed to two destinations with adjustable depth. This makes it highly playable, especially on MPE-compatible controllers. You can route pressure to filter cutoff while slide controls FM amount, for example, enabling nuanced live performance.
