At its core, Flite blends four independent multi-samplers with a powerful synth engine capable of FM, virtual analog, and wavetable synthesis.
Each layer can be shaped individually or grouped together, making it easy to build complex, evolving instruments from simple building blocks. Dual multimode filters, multiple envelopes, LFOs, EQ stages, and a deep modulation matrix give Flite the flexibility of a full synth while keeping the workflow intuitive and fast.
Two 32-step sequencers add rhythmic and melodic motion, handling note data, pitch, modulation, gate length, and rate.
These sequencers are tightly integrated with Flite’s modulation system, allowing patches to move, breathe, and shift over time without external automation. Add in multi-effects including granular reverb by Sinevibes, plus chorus and delay, and Flite becomes a complete sound-design environment rather than just a preset player.

Flite Play is the free entry point, offering full access to over 200 presets built from a 2.5GB sample library sourced from rare and iconic hardware.
These sounds span classic synths, drum machines, and organic material, all recorded in 24-bit/48kHz quality and curated by respected sound designers. Play mode is focused on performance and inspiration, letting producers work immediately without setup or configuration.
Flite Create unlocks the full engine, allowing users to design instruments from scratch, import their own samples, edit all synthesis and modulation parameters, and save custom presets.
Play and Create live inside the same plugin, making upgrading seamless once deeper control is needed. This dual-mode approach makes Flite equally useful as a fast preset instrument and a long-term sound design tool.
